  • Value Proposition

IAP has developed a technology to process titanium nano composites whose properties, such as strength, wear and fatigue, can be tailored over a wide range to suit specific applications. These composites exhibit superior performance compared to pure titanium and its alloys. Such tunability in material properties is achieved through uniform dispersion of nano-meter sized reinforcements in the matrix. An additional benefit is that the product can be net shape formed. They anticipate the cost for this technology will be competitive with existing manufacturing methods.
